I haven't updated this blog since 2014. Yikes. Well, I've now got a new computer, and two new expansions, so I should be able to revive this!

Household shots

Here are a few photos of the house I built and photographed. The people (sims) I built it for was: An adult woman and her husband, their two teenage daughters, and their two school-year (child) daughters. Downstairs it has a hallway, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and the teens bedroom. Upstairs there's a large landing, a study, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.

Welcome to Droplet Photography! Nice new name :) Today is the grand re-opening! TA-Ta-DA-ta!

Re-opening of My Sims

As you may have heard, My Sims was closed down for a while (well, more than a while) because of the failure with the Life of an Alien legacy. I know some of you enjoyed it, but it was really hard to write it.
Now, this Saturday (drum-roll, please) I am re-opening My Sims as a Sims 3 Photography blog! That's right, I'll post my best screen-shots - and others - on here, far more often than I posted anything else! Why? Because it'll be much faster and easier. I promise, you won't regret it! Join the event with your own Sims 3 photos on Facebook! This Saturday, any time, right here!
Also, on a side-note, My Sims will get a complete make-over. I'm starting with the font now (to make it easier to read) but the rest will come on Saturday! Don't miss it!

(As you may have noticed, I started using CC, which makes a huuuge improvement on the sims I make)

Life of an Alien Chapter One - Moving In

Okay, before we start - this is my first time making a legacy, and on most of the photos I did not know about the 'Hideheadlineeffects' cheat, which is why you'll be able to see the plumbob and thought bubbles in the first few chapters. I hope you like it anyway!

Meet the founder of the legacy - Sizhut Zou Bip! What are her traits? Well, I think I'll make it a surprise... But I can tell you that she is Good, Handy and a Genius.

Sizhut arrived in Sunset Valley for the first time at exactly 3:27 am.

 She decided to investigate the house closest to her - the Landgraab household. As she inspected the building, a woman came over.

Woman: Hello, I live in the house next door. I saw some strange lights from my garden and came too see what it was.. My name is Maya Rocks. Are you new here in Sunset Valley?

Sizhut: Urm, yes..

Maya was surprised at Sizhut's  strange voice and skin colour, but she decided not to question it. Instead, she invited the alien over.

 When they went into the house, Sizhut told Maya why she is in Sunset Valley.

Sizhut: You look so different from us! You don't have black eyes, or green skin and your voice is so low. 

Maya: Yes, but you look very strange for me too. It depends on what you're used to seeing, I guess. Why are you here, anyway?

Sizhut: I'm a Zaik. We can speak over a hundred languages, and we know handiness and logic very well. But the other Zaik's don't want me any more. They say I'm too interested in humans, like you, and after I broke the rules of trying to come down to earth in daylight, they sent me into exile. *sobs*

After Maya learned that poor Sizhut was in exile, she decided to let her live in the Rocks household. 

Maya:We have one spare bedroom, you can live with us.

Sizhut was delighted. Maya gave her some 'human clothes' and explained the use of a bikini. Sizhut put it on and went to 're-charge' her brain.

  It turned out the Rocks had two baby children - Charlie and Charlotte.

Taking use of her handiness skill, Sizhut fixed the broken laptop.

Sizhut: I can't stand technology like this, but I have to say thank you somehow!

Yes, she is a Technophobe.

One day after Sizhut moved into Sunset Valley, it was the twins birthday.

 Sizhut got her first taste of cake!

Sizhut: Mmm, delicious! 

As the party was over, Charlie and Charlotte were put to bed.

 

Sizhut found a nice lounge and decided to rest there.

Sizhut: Maya said this was the perfect place to meet other people, but why are they looking at me like that? Didn't they ever see a Zaik re-charge?

I don't think so, Sizhut. You're not really from their planet.

Sizhut: You mean the people here don't re-charge?!

No.

Sizhut: How do they keep their brain power up, then?

They do a thing called 'sleeping'. 

  When Sizhut was rested up, she decided to scan Thorton Wolff. 

Sizhut: Interesting.. I should try to make contact.

But Sizhut did something more than 'making contact'.

Sizhut: *thinks* I can't believe it -  I fell in love with a human! But I guess that if I want a life, I won't have a Zaik to choose from! I hope he likes me...

 Luckily, it looks like Thorton approves of Sizhut!

Thorton and Sizhut met again two days later, after Maya persuaded Sizhut to go out to town.

Sizhut: Thorton, I really like your smile... That is, um, would you like to come over?

Thorton: Sizhut, are you trying to tell me something? Because I would really like to tell you that, even though you're different, I love you and I would like you to go on a date with me.

Sizhut: Oh, so do I! But, urm.. A date?

Thorton patiently explained what a date is, and Sizhut agreed.

Well, I can honestly say that Sizhut really enjoyed her first date.
